IPL Hair Removal For Women
Premier Laser Clinic laser treatment removes all unwanted excess dark hair. Ellipse IPL is attracted to the melanin (colour) in the hair. It kills off a cycle of hair per treatment, therefore after each treatment the amount of hair reduces and becomes finer. The hairs fall out in the next few weeks after the treatment and then we wait for the next cycle of hair to come back before you are due your next treatment.
Hair is needed on the area prior to treatment so avoid waxing, tweezing, electrolysis and bleaching up to 4 weeks before treatment. Clients with dark brown to black hair will find the treatment more effective, achieving up to 95% hair reduction. Excess hair growth can be caused by a number of reasons e.g hormones, medication and it can also be hereditary.
6-8 treatments are needed. depending on the area been treatment you will need to come back for your next treatment between 6-10 weeks.

IPL Hair Removal For Men
With Ellipse IPL body hair can now be reduced greatly, a lot of men are embarrassed by hair on there back and chest and are very conscientious of removing there tops in public e.g. in the gym, on a beach etc. Now with Ellipse IPL you can do something about it. The treatment works on the colour of the hair so the darker you are the better results you get. It can take between 6-10 treatments . There is 12 weeks between each treatment.
The treatment starts by shaving the area first then the IPL treatment is carried out, it can take up to 5 weeks for all the hairs to fall out after the treatment. We then leave 7 weeks for the next hair growth to come up and this is what we treat on your next visit, also popular with cyclists for reducing the amount of hair growth on the legs.
After the treatment the area will be slightly red for a few hours. It is best to avoid exercise for 24hrs after treatment.
